Specter DIY (Do It Yourself) is one of the 3 major projects (along with Seedsigner and Krux which we also offer in the store), allowing everyone to obtain non-specialized components, easy to find online, to build and assemble a 100% Open-Source bitcoin signer.

The Specter Shield Lite is the improved, ready-to-use version of the Specter DIY.
 It integrates a card reader with a Secure Element , enabling optional seed encryption on PIN-protected smart cards. This eliminates the need to import the seed each time. Combined with a BIP-39 passphrase, this 100% open-source setup is extremely robust.

Thanks to its smartphone-sized touchscreen and transparent open-source technology, you retain total control over your keys at all times, offline and without compromise.

We offer 2 versions of the Specter Shield Light, a pre-assembled and ready-to-use version, and a kit version for the more courageous and curious who wish to build their own device.

In all cases, the package contains:

- 1 x Specter DIY (kit or pre-assembled)
- 1 x micro-SD card for air-gapped transactions and firmware updates
- 1 x micro-USB cable for power
- 1 x JavaCard with integrated secure element, ready to use

If you live in: Luxembourg/Belgium/Germany/Austria/Spain/Italy/Netherlands/Poland/Portugal, you are also eligible for delivery to Relay Points & Lockers.

To access it when paying, choose "Ship to address".
Then enter an address close to the relay point where you want to be delivered (because you do not want to give your own).

Once payment is made, you will be presented with a list of Relay Points and Lockers near your address.
